Taken on Panama Canal Cruise after I had participated in the ship's "Rock 'n' Roldies" show.
We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day on Catalina Island in 1999. It was a very different way to celebrate.
Cotton is a medium sulphur-crested cockatoo. He barks like a dog and uses tools. His favorite tool is a scooper that came out of a new can of coffee. He uses it to dip in his water bowl and scoop up the water which he then pours down his throat. This is my first bird, a divorce present to myself which I still cannot explain except to say I was in a state of meltdown that day.
I love this picture of my son and my Mother which was taken shortly before she died August 2004 at the age of 94. And, oh how she loved her handsome grandson. They were allies as two Leos battling a Taurean (me).
Congressman John Myers, Vice President Dan Quayle and me. I figure this is one of those classics ... Dan Quayle has a problem spelling more than potato ... Lesile shoud be Leslie. Picture taken at a fund raiser that I was in charge of organizing as part of my job.
Leo 110 lbs., Amber 5 lbs. Who is winning? Both of these loved pets have gone to their doggie heaven.
My backyard pond is my favorite place to hang out, meditate, do nothing or be creative. I can wile away hours watching the fish and turtles.
This was my Mother's last Thanksgiving where she was healthy enough to be a hostess. She always loved to set a beautiful table. Thanksgiving 2001
River rafting on the Corribici River, Costa Rica. This was an incredibly beautiful place.
This was taken after my 2nd knee surgery. Since then, I've had a knee replacement.
Our newest addition to the family is Princess, a little Minnie Pin who has spring loaded legs and never met a piece of cardboard or paper that didn't deserve to be shredded. She joined me while on a cross-country trip at the age of 5 months. As you can see, she is a tiny bundle of love.
When the firemen came down the street with their bells clanging and sirens blaring, Princess couldn't wait to see Santa.
Magic Jack, Becki Jill, Fritz, and the Captain. It was Christmas and Mom was in the kitchen basting the turkey, hence the single-minded interest.
