What is with the dhimmicrats? Why do they have such a bug up their butts about John Bolton? Have they been blind and deaf the last year and a half? The man is so perfect for the United States and so perfect for these dangerous times. Is that it? He is too perfect, too good at his job, he makes them look even more idiotic? I've got news for them, they look and sound idiotic anyway. WE NEED JOHN BOLTON!!!
Another Jew hating, Israel bashing resolution passed by the corrupt world body that ignores the Islamic Jihad of the Khartoum Government in Sudan, ignores the oppression of non Muslims in Muslim countries, ignores the mad ravings of Islamic Iran bent on annihilating the West, ignores the brutal killings in Indonesia, ignores their own peace keepers' acts of child rape and slavery - but the light unto nations? That is what they wish to extinguish.
What was it again the dhimmicrats have against Infidel Hunk of the Week, Ambassador Bolton?
Tell me again. Explain to me what it is they have against his extraordinary record of accomplishments. Go read Ben Johnson's indictment of our feckless leaders, over at Front Page Mag, "JOHN BOLTON, THE NEXT BLOOD SACRIFICE?"If you don't BLOG FOR BOLTON you can't hang in the Atlas Sphere. Going to Bat for Bolton is Dymphna's answer. She writes:
There is something YOU can do. ***Follow this link*** and make a call. Please. WE NEED JOHN BOLTON!Just for fun, I thought I’d turn the tables on a blog dedicated to stopping Bolton’s nomination. I’m not going to link to it - the knaves - but I will tell you it’s a group affiliated with The World Federalist Movement, those lovely folk dedicated to the takeover of the US by the UN.
Given their agenda, it’s no wonder they find Bolton’s complaints about the sexual abuse and corruption of UN blue birds so offensive. They list his disgust with the UN’s business as usual as one of his “blunders.”
The one-world folks - the transnationalists - want Bolton out of there. And they may well have their way. Bolton was in Washington this weekend, meeting with senators in an attempt to save his ambassadorship. But there are too many vested interests who know how dangerous he is to changing the paradigm; he’s got to go. And there are far too many who are determined to make President Bush look bad, no matter what the cost, even if it’s the further erosion of our sovereignty.
The Administration has sent Bolton’s nomination back up to the Hill anyway. One has to admire them for trying. Bolton is the best thing since Jeanne Kirkpatrick served in the same post. Of the UN, former Ambassador Kirkpatrick said:As I watched the behavior of the nations of the U.N. (including our own), I found no reasonable ground to expect any one of those governments to transcend permanently their own national interests for those of another country.
I conclude that it is a fundamental mistake to think that salvation, justice, or virtue come through merely human institutions.
Democracy not only requires equality but also an unshakable conviction in the value of each person, who is then equal. Cross cultural experience teaches us not simply that people have different beliefs, but that people seek meaning and understand themselves in some sense as members of a cosmos ruled by God.The one-worlders, groups like the American-based (as in based right across the street from the UN building) World Federalist Movement, find Bolton offensive? Imagine what they’d do now to Kirkpatrick.
We can not afford to allow massive political egos to control this nomination. The stakes are too high for that pettiness. The people need to be heard!
Little notice by our media was given to Bolton's this past week. Via Powerline: Ambassador Bolton's comments, made in the United Nations on Friday, were reported by a news outlet based in Calcutta:
Ambassador Bolton's November 17 General Assembly statement has been posted in its entirety at the site of the United States Mission to the UN.The U.S. Ambassador to the UN, John Bolton, launched a scathing attack on the United Nations Friday.
Bolton was furious over the adoption by the General Assembly of a resolution which said the assembly regretted the deaths of 19 civilians in an attack by the Israeli military in the town of Beit Hanoun last week.
Despite the resolution being significantly watered down at the behest of the United States, and being passing by 156 votes to seven, Bolton launched a blistering attack on the UN, and many of its members.
"Many of the sponsors of that resolution are notorious abusers of human rights themselves, and were seeking to deflect criticism of their own policies," he said.
"This type of resolution serves only to exacerbate tensions by serving the interests of elements hostile to Israel's inalienable and recognized right to exist."
"This deepens suspicions about the United Nations that will lead many to conclude that the organization is incapable of playing a helpful role in the region," Bolton continued.
"In a larger sense, the United Nations must confront a more significant question, that of its relevance and utility in confronting the challenges of the 21st century. We believe that the United Nations is ill served when its members seek to transform the organization into a forum that is a little more than a self-serving and a polemical attack against Israel or the United States," he said.
"The Human Rights Council has quickly fallen into the same trap and de-legitimized itself by focusing attention exclusively on Israel. Meanwhile, it has failed to address real human rights abuses in Burma, Darfur, the DPRK, and other countries," Bolton charged.
"The problem of anti-Israel bias is not unique to the Human Rights Council. It is endemic to the culture of the United Nations. It is a decades-old, systematic problem that transcends the whole panoply of the UN organizations and agencies," he continued.
