IREY ACCEPTS MULTIPLE ENDORSEMENTS
MONONGAHELA, November 6) -- Washington County Commissioner and Pennsylvania 12th district Republican Congressional nominee Diana Irey -- accepting endorsements from voter groups both local and national -- today issued the following statement:
"I'm pleased our campaign to clean up the mess in Washington has met with such strong support from the grass roots. From all over southwest Pennsylvania -- in fact, from all over the country! -- our campaign has received support from numerous groups committed to positive change in the Congress.
"They share the same goals and values I do -- a commitment to support our troops as they defend our freedoms overseas, a respect for the sanctity of human life, a determination to continue a low-tax, lower-spending fiscal policy geared to creating new and better jobs, a get-tough policy on criminals, a commitment to protect and defend the 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms, and a desire to clean up the culture of corruption in Congress.
"And they all realize what we do -- that it's time for a change in Congress, and that means that after 32 years, it's time to retire Jack Murtha.
"Whether it's Rolling Thunder, or the Firearm Owners Against Crime, or the Pennsylvania State Troopers Association, or the National Vietnam & Gulf War Veterans Coalition, or the National Association of Wholesaler Distributors PAC, or LifePAC of Southwestern Pennsylvania, they all want the same thing we do -- new representation for the 12th Congressional District.
"So today, we're pleased to announce these endorsements. Tomorrow, we'll be pleased to accept the endorsement of the voters of the 12th District."
In our own post about the Johnstown Tribune-Democrat non endorsement endorsement of Murtha, we asked, "was it written by John Kerry?" but you have to love Gateway Pundit's take on the whole thing and check out their video dedicated to the Liberal Hawks in the same post.
They like him!... They really like him!
The Tribune Democrat embraces John Murtha like a smelly dead fish!
Makes you want to cut and run right down to the polling station:
