Dear California Voters,
This Tuesday, November 7, is Election Day, when Californians will
be choosing their next Attorney General. I am running for "Top Cop" on a pledge
to focus the Department of Justice on public safety. Please take a moment to view
this video in which I explain why I'm running, who supports me, and share with
you my priorities as Attorney General.
I have been campaigning up
and down California [view a slideshow of the
Poochigian campaign bus tour during the past week], sharing my plan
to protect California families from sexual predators, identity thieves, felons
with firearms, and other criminals, as well as to fulfill all of the
responsibilities of the office involving business practices, consumer and
environmental protection guided by common sense and an unwavering commitment to
the rule of law.
I have stood with crime victims to stress
the importance of an Attorney General committed to seeing that justice is served
and am very honored to have the enthusiastic endorsement of numerous victims'
advocates. Because of my solid public safety record, I am also very pleased to have the overwhelming
support of district attorneys, sheriffs, and law enforcement, as
well as local elected leaders from throughout the
state.
In everything that I have done in my career - from assisting two Governors
in their selection of judges to my service in the State Legislature - I have
strived to protect our constitution and fight for laws and policies that reflect
our great California values. I have a strong record of encouraging job growth
and a vibrant economy, promoting high quality education, and having an effective
criminal justice system that assures our safety in our homes, schools, and
workplaces. With your support, I want to continue fighting on behalf of
California families as your next Attorney General.
As you go to the polls on Election Day, please vote for me, Chuck
Poochigian, for Attorney General. Thank you for your consideration!
Sincerely, Chuck Poochigian * Visit: www.pooch4ag.com and www.moveonjerry.org for more information,
