The Greatest Superstar Governor
Ever!
by Justin Schulz on Mon 25 Sep 2006 01:39 PM PDT
"It is very exciting being a volunteer for the greatest superstar
governor ever! It is a great opportunity to see him and who he really is and
what he stands for. This guy is cool! Though making phone calls and walking
precincts is fun, actually seeing Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in action makes
you think "This guy is really going to help us!"
This election is all about having the right people in the right
place. Go Governor Schwarzenegger!"
-------------------------------------- Justin Schulz, 14, is a
"student volunteer" from Live Oak Middle School in Tulare. Justin has made
approximately 500 phone calls and walked 3 precincts since getting involved as a
volunteer in August. He first met the Governor at the World Ag Expo in Tulare in
2004.

RHETORIC VS. REALITY: Ad Fact-Check On
Alliance For A Better California Ads
It's not surprising that Phil Angelides' special interest groups
would attempt to save his flailing campaign by launching millions of dollars in
TV ads distorting the Governor's record. What these special interest groups
don't tell voters is that Phil Angelides has benefited from over $75 million in
special interest money.
The Governor's record on education is historic and undisputable
– he has increased education funding to record levels every year he has been in
office and is fully funding education.
The sad part is that we expect California voters will be
subjected to even more of Phil Angelides' special interest money distorting the
Governor's record with baseless attacks.

POLITICAL RHETORIC ON IRAQ
Journalists: Angelides' "Ludicrous" Proposal Called
"Illegal" And A "Stunt" That "Smacks Of Desperation"
Sacramento Bee's Dan Walters: Angelides' "Stunt" Is "Simply Ludicrous." "The
notion that a governor is somehow going to take back National Guard troops is
simply ludicrous. Federal law is very specific that when a president
nationalizes such troops, as Bush has, they are no longer under the command of
governors but become part of the federal military. That's why, for instance,
presidents could order local National Guard troops to protect students as they
attempted to integrate schools and colleges in the South during the 1950s and
1960s. It's just a stunt, as Angelides knows." (Dan Walters, Op-Ed, "As
Schwarzenegger Dignifies Himself, Others Become Cheesier," Sacramento Bee,
