Things must be going well for the polygamist community of Warren Jeffs. According to news reports this morning, Jeffs was driving a bright red 2007 Cadillac Escalade at the time he was stopped. The FBI announced in a press conference that he had $54,000 in cash on him and numerous envelops thought to have more cash in them. There were also 15 cell phones in the car and wigs for disguise. The two individuals (his brother and one of his 60 to 70 wives) with Jeff's at the time of the arrest were not charged and have been released. The car was initially stopped because the temporary "new car" Colorado tags were not visible. The Las Vegas state trooper recognized Mr. Jeffs, who was a passenger in the Escalade, and immediately called in the FBI.
