Got this in an email this morning ... interesting ...
Text "Gov" to
50555
Dear Sara,
Governor Schwarzenegger's campaign
continues to be on the cutting edge of technology. We want you to be there with
us!
This weekend at the California
Republican Party State Convention, our campaign will be providing FREE text
message updates to keep you in the loop on the latest campaign activities.
"SMS" or text messages are short
messages that come straight to your cell phone. This weekend they will give you
the inside scoop on what is happening, where it is happening and where you need
to be to join the action as it happens.
All you need to do is send a text
message to 50555 with the word GOV as your message. Then reply with “y” or “yes”
to the confirmation. Or opt-in at JoinArnold.com!

And this one from Monday's email. As far as I know, Angeliddes wants two things ... higher taxes (the
last thing Californians need, we are already almost the highest tax
state in the country), and gay marriage.

Dear Sara,
It seems Phil Angelides has never met a
tax he doesn't like.
His record includes support for higher
income taxes, more sales taxes, increased property taxes, taxes on farm
equipment, taxes on auto repair, taxes on diesel fuel, taxes on alcohol – and
that's just naming a few!
Along the campaign trail, Phil Angelides
keeps proposing new programs that each come with multimillion- or
multibillion-dollar price tags. His tally is now up to more than $18 billion in
increased taxes!
WATCH a
new web video outlining the costs for many of his campaign promises.
What's incredible is that Phil Angelides claims he will have to raise only $5
billion in new taxes. Any tax increase is too much, but $5 billion is nowhere
near enough to cover the cost of all his promises. So, either Phil Angelides is
lying about wanting to follow through on all of these promises, or he is
planning a massive tax hike.
In stark contrast, Governor Schwarzenegger has pledged to continue holding
the line on taxes and has ruled out increasing any taxes in his second term.
It's a clear choice, and it's your choice. Sign up to volunteer. Contribute
to the campaign.
