Israel has called up 3000 reserve troops and has its tanks and troops lined up along the border. Fox is broadcasting the mass of trucks, tanks, and military. Very scary, very serious looking.

Hezbollah fired 87 rockets into Israel yesterday and Israel warning massive land invasion coming. Israel is telling those in Southern Lebanon to evacuate. Lebanon threatening to send their army to the border, but there are problems because the Army contains many factions who are divided and the Christians would not back Hezbollah. Hezbollah chief says "no" to giving back Israeli soldiers. Israel opening humanitarian corridor between Lebanon and Cyprus.
Secretary of State Condi Rice makes it clear that the Lebanese government is sovereign and not Hezbollah and warns that it "takes a robust force to end the reason for violence." "Goal is to find sustainable end to violence." "Goal of Mideast trip is for 'lasting' peace." She ruled out a quick cease-fire as a "false promise" and defended her decision not to talk to officials from Hezbollah or Syria.
John Bolton, U.N. Ambassador, has been on Fox for over an hour and with every passing minute, I like him more and more. I'm with Pamela, "Why hasn't this man been confirmed? Write your Congressman [Senator] now." Watch the VLOGS.
John Bolton Does a Question and Answer
with America on FOX'S Dayside. An extraordinary momentThis is a great exchange between Ambassador Bolton and regular folks. These VLOGS are excerpts of Bolton's appearance earlier today on FOX's Dayside, and it's excellent. Watch th!em all but particularly poignant is the burst of applause the audience broke into when Ralph Peters (third video in the series) thanked him for his extraordinary work.

WASHINGTON — The House, displaying a foreign affairs solidarity lacking on issues like Iraq, voted overwhelmingly Thursday to support Israel in its confrontation with Hezbollah guerrillas.
The resolution, which was passed on a 410-8 vote, also condemns enemies of the Jewish state.
The nay votes were: Abercrombie
Conyers, Dingell, Kilpatrick (MI), McDermott, Paul, Rahall, Stark ,
Answered “PRESENT” - 4:
Kaptur, Kucinich, Lee, Waters
I hope you readers get it. A vote against Israel is a vote FOR the terrorists. There is no rationalization on this.
IAF: We hit rocket launcher aimed at Haifa
A senior Israel Air Force official said that "the IDF succeeded in hitting the
Hizbullah rocket launcher that was launching rockets towards Haifa and caused the injuries of over 30 people. The launch site was located near Tyre, in southern Lebanon. Likewise, we hit four short-range Katyusha launch sites."
Bush, Rice to Meet With Saudi Arabian Officials Over Mideast Conflict
WASHINGTON — Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will outline U.S. hopes Friday for a diplomatic solution to the Israeli-Hezbollah fighting, and she and President Bush will meet with Saudi Arabian officials Sunday to discuss it.
An Israeli official said the nation did not want to see a "protracted or messy" ground operation, but that its forces would continue to make incursions into southern Lebanon near the border.
The official, Daniel Ayalon, Israel's ambassador to Washington, told The Associated Press that Israel would not rule out an eventual international stabilization force. But he said Israel was first determined to take out Hezbollah's command and control centers and weapons stockpiles.

Marines Help More Americans Evacuate Lebanon
BEIRUT, Lebanon — U.S. Marines pushed baby carriages and lifted children into transport boats Friday as Americans desperate to flee the Israeli bombardment of Lebanon lined up near Beirut's port as a massive evacuation operation picked up speed.
Up to 5,000 U.S. citizens are slated to leave — the largest number in three days.
The boats ferried the Americans from a Lebanese military base north of Beirut to warships waiting offshore.
"It is very well organized, but as you can imagine with large crowds, it takes time," said George Tarzi, 55, a jeweler from New York who said he had been waiting for seven hours to get on a boat.
U.S. officials, still smarting from criticism over delays in starting the effort, have said about 8,000 of the 25,000 Americans in Lebanon — many dual citizens who live there permanently — had registered for evacuation. They suggested the operation could be wrapped up sooner than expected, perhaps as early as Saturday.
Flopping Aces sums up:
Last but not least in this update is the beautiful words from the Israeli ambassador to the UN:
Israeli ambassador to the United Nations Dan Gillerman speaking to reporters today: "We have the US behind us because we are right, because we are just, because we are moral and because we are a democracy. Hamas and Hezbollah have Iran and Syria behind them because they are terror organizations."
That one sentence spells out the entire conflict. Israel has been in a War against Terror for decades while the US has merely appeased the terrorists during that time while sending a few rockets here and there. Since we have had the good fortune to have a man like George Bush as our Commander in Chief when 9/11 happened we have since joined the fight. This fight we must not lose…supporting Israel as they engage on this new/old front against terror is paramount.
