Back in the late 1970s, at the time of the hostage crisis with Iran, the San Diego Charger football team and the Oakland Raider football team were arch rivals and their owners were at each other's throats constantly, both from their sky boxes and from the witness stand in a court room. During that time, bumper stickers were being distributed in San Diego that read:
IRANIANS GO HOME
AND TAKE THE RAIDERS WITH YOU!
Up until today, it was my #1 on the list of all time "stick it to them" bumper stickers. Today a new #1 has emerged.
