The Football Fan

Have I mentioned that I'm a football fan? I'm a baseball fan too, but that's for another season. Right now I have a major quandary that only an avid fan can understand.

The Problem

The San Diego Chargers are my team. Problem you say? They won their division and are lookin' good. Ah, but for many years I also lived in Baltimore and shortly thereafter in Indianapolis and my team for those years was ... yep ... the Colts! Our family is split as some still live in Indiana and some are out here in California but their hearts are still in Indiana. The other side are Charger fans, have always been Charger fans and will be Charger fans as long as there is a San Diego Charger football team. I mostly fall into the second category, but just a teeny little part of me still has a soft spot for Indy.

My Solution

I will be cheering on the Chargers, but not competely devastated if the Colts win. With a twofer shot at the Super Bowl, maybe it is my year at last.
